WAST – User Guide

Sign In (to the Consultant Connect App)

If you have yet to sign up to the Consultant Connect service, watch our short video, and download the free Consultant Connect App (from the App Store or Google Play). To start using the service, open the app on your phone, and follow the simple steps to sign up. 

Using a radio handset

If you experience mobile phone signal issues in rural locations or are unable to use the app, you can access Telephone Advice & Guidance by calling the Consultant Connect Dial-In Number that relates to your Health Board area.

1. I have forgotten my password, what should I do? 

To reset your password, click here.

2. I work across multiple Health Board areas, can these be added to my Consultant Connect App? 

Yes. Log in to the app and tap the ‘Profile’ tab. Then, tap ‘Request Organisation Change’ and follow the simple steps to gain access. Once complete, you will be able to view the areas in the ‘Profile’ tab of the app and simply toggle between your chosen Health Board areas.

3. I sometimes work in rural areas where the signal is quite poor, is there another way to access the service?

Yes. If you are unable to make a call via the app, you can access Telephone Advice & Guidance by calling your Health Board’s unique Dial-In Number from any phone, including a radio handset. If you do not know your Health Board’s unique Dial-In Number, please email hello@consultantconnect.org.uk or call us on 01865 261 467.
