The end-to-end solution is a modular approach that can be implemented at a pace or, if you prefer, Consultant Connect’s Referral Backlog Triage or 18 Week Support can be booked separately.

How it works:
The service uses our National Consultant Network (NCN). It’s the same network we launched 2 years ago which currently supports more than 50 NHS trusts with their capacity to deliver Advice & Guidance.
- Available for 17 specialties using a network of experienced NHS consultants
- Manages high volumes quickly: recent project at a Trust resulted in 3,450 referrals completed within 3 weeks
- Results in many referrals being returned to the GP with Advice & Guidance
- Identifies important upgrades into urgent / 2ww as well as downgrades to non-urgent
- Captures and communicates all results via e-RS
- It is charged on a per referral basis
