…and provide clinicians, across the UK, with telephone advice and guidance
We are always looking for more consultants to join the National Consultant Network (NCN). Our service helps avoid unnecessary admissions and referrals by enabling clinicians to get advice & guidance from local and/or out-of-area NHS specialists by telephone and/or review photo message requests.
If you have any questions, please fill in our ‘Request a call back’ form below, email ncn@consultantconnect.org.uk or call us on 01865 261467.
We are currently looking for clinicians in a number of specialties to join the NCN: click here to view the list of specialties.

- All calls arrive from a single inbound number (meaning your number is never disclosed to clinicians) and are to provide telephone-based advice and guidance for patient-related queries
- You can decide which days you are available to join our rota (which currently operates Monday to Friday 9am – 8pm and is split into three clinical sessions – 9am – 1pm, 1pm – 5pm and 5pm – 8pm)
- You are not required to answer calls if you are busy
- There is no term commitment from you; if you like it you continue; if you don’t you can step back with immediate effect
