Safe Clinical Photography

Solves the problem of clinical photos being taken on personal mobiles

Completely IG secure and GDPR compliant – nothing is stored on your phone, all images and notes are automatically saved in a highly secure cloud.

Significantly reduces admin clinicians no longer have to use the practice camera or take photos on their phone, email them to themselves and then remember to delete them from their phone.

Intuitive design – requires no training.

In areas where Photo Advice & Guidance is enabled, clinicians can share images immediately and directly to hospital teams – at the touch of a button.

How it works

Clinician needs to take clinical photos

A clinician has a patient with a condition that they wish to photograph. The clinician confirms in the app that the patient has consented to being photographed and takes one or more photos using PhotoSAF on the Consultant Connect App.

The clinician adds the patient’s NHS number and any relevant notes.

1

Clinician saves the images

The clinician taps the ‘save’ option on the screen. The photos and notes are automatically and immediately saved to an IG secure and GDPR compliant cloud.

The photos and notes are not stored on the clinicians phone.

Clinician wants to access the images

The clinician can access the saved images in the secure cloud via their web browser. The images can be easily downloaded and saved to the patient record and/or sent to other clinicians using secure tools such as e-RS or NHS.net.

In areas where Photo Advice & Guidance is enabled, clinicians can use the Consultant Connect App to share images immediately – at the touch of button – by tapping the ‘share these photos’ option on the screen and selecting the relevant local specialty teams they are seeking advice from.
