With wave 2 upon us we share examples of how we are using IG secure tech to help NHS areas with their response.

Advice & Guidance has become a central part of the new landscape since we wrote ‘5 ways COVID affected NHS Advice & Guidance’ in June 2020.

With wave 2 upon us we share examples of how we are using IG secure tech to help NHS areas with their response. Some approaches can be rolled out in as little as 72 hours meaning they will make an impact this winter and include:

  • Enhanced Advice & Guidance in Elective and Urgent Care
  • Using the National Consultant Network for remote advice or for Referral Backlog Triage
  • Photo messaging across multiple specialties (e.g. Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Tissue Viability Advice and more)
  • Safe Early Discharge
  • Mental Health advice
  • Community users (incl. Care Homes)
  • Remote Working / Quarantined Clinicians
